Do you charge extra for after-hours emergency call-outs? add
We charge no call-out fee regardless of the time of day. After-hours rates may apply for labour on emergency calls outside standard business hours. We will always advise you of any applicable rates before we begin work.
What qualifies as a plumbing emergency? add
Any situation that poses an immediate risk to your safety, health or property should be treated as an emergency. This includes burst pipes, gas leaks, sewage overflows, flooding from plumbing faults, and blocked drains causing water to back up inside your home.
What should I do while I wait for the plumber to arrive? add
For burst pipes: turn off the water at the main stopcock immediately. For gas leaks: leave the building, do not operate electrical switches, and call from outside. For sewage overflows: stop using all plumbing fixtures and keep people away from the affected area. See the full guide at the top of this page.
How quickly can you respond to an emergency in Bayside? add
Our team is based in Bayside, which means we are typically among the fastest responders in the area. Response time depends on demand at the time of your call and your specific location, but we aim to attend urgent emergencies as quickly as possible.
Can you repair a burst pipe on the same visit? add
In the majority of cases, yes. Our emergency vehicles carry the pipe repair materials and fittings needed for most common burst pipe scenarios. If a section of pipe requires complete replacement beyond what we can carry on the vehicle, we will isolate the burst and schedule the repair at the earliest opportunity.
Do you handle gas leak emergencies? add
Yes. Our team includes licensed gas fitters who are qualified to locate and repair gas leaks safely. For a strong gas smell, also call the Victorian gas emergency line on 132 771 as an additional precaution.
Are your emergency plumbers fully licensed? add
Yes. Every plumber attending an emergency job is a fully licensed Victorian tradesperson. Gas work is carried out exclusively by licensed gas fitters. All work is compliant with Victorian plumbing regulations.
What is the $0 call-out fee policy for emergencies? add
There is no call-out fee for emergency attendance. You will receive a clear, upfront quote for the work required before we begin. Labour rates for after-hours emergency work will be disclosed before any work commences.
